Job description:

Paparella & Associates, a law firm practicing exclusively in intellectual property law (i.e., Patent and Trademark matters) is seeking an EXPERIENCED part-time (20 hours per week) patent and trademark professional for its Grand Rapids office. Your primary responsibility will be assisting our attorneys in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent and trademark matters before the USPTO. However, you will also be responsible for other legal/administrative functions, including typing, filing, answering phone, client communications, docketing, etc. The position will be located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Salary: $10 to $25 per hour.

 

Requirements:

1) excellent organizational skills; 2) excellent typing, spelling and grammatical skills; 3) excellent verbal communication skills; 4) ability to work effectively in a stressful environment; 5) ability to self-start and think critically; and 6) previous patent and trademark experience.
